Céleste | Devlog I
Okay, if you watched Devlog #1 (in my Instagram Story Highlights now), you can see how much of an utter failure it was. The planet was travelling horizontally, unaffected by its distant star. Furthermore, the project did not behave the same upon reopening.
I was bummed out by the anomaly of the situation and decided to prototype a whole new system which was simpler yet more robust and superior as you have seen earlier. The moon orbit was a success. Hence, this video will be considered as my first official devlog of Céleste since it will be the showcase of the earliest working prototype.
The goal of the project remains the same: create a Solar System before slowly destroying it to observe the chaos that ensues. My next step will be to cheat the illumination of the planets which I will explain in another devlog.
