Céleste | Devlog II
I managed to successfully prototype a system to destroy the celestial bodies as demonstrated in the video. The light system has also been fixed where, in the previous devlog, the Moon will be illuminated despite being behind Earth. In addition to that, tilt in the planets’ orbital planes have been assigned to make the simulation more realistic.
The next step will be to implement a UI for players to conveniently delete the planets. I also plan to create templates of other star systems for players to explore as well as allowing them to create their own star system...but we’ll take one step at a time.
